Ariana Grande claims that the universe is against her

There’s no denying she has faced a particularly difficult couple of years.

And now it appears as if Ariana Grande could be struggling to deal with what the universe has been throwing at her lately.

Referencing her hit No Tears Left To Cry, Ariana pointed out that the sentiment behind the lyrics was thwarted by the universe, as she has continued to face heartache since its April release.

In a new tweet, Ariana wrote: “Remember when i was like hey i have no tears left to cry and the universe was like HAAAAAAAAA b**** u thought.”

Since releasing the track, Ariana has dealt with the break down of her engagement to Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson.

The break up occurred just weeks after the tragic death of Ariana’s ex-boyfriend, US rapper Mac Miller who died of a cocaine and fentanyl overdose.

And earlier this year, the star broke down in tears when reliving the Manchester Arena terror attack, where a suicide bombing killed 22 people at her concert in May 2017.

"People are permanently affected by this stuff. It changes everything," she said in August.

Fans took to Twitter to support the star through her difficult time.

“Yes but it has turned you into the person you are today always growing and flourishing,” wrote one fan.

Another posted: “Yeah, life is full of tricks….but thank God you’re someone that takes every tear and turns into a lesson, turns it into strength. I’m really proud of you.”

A third commented: “Babe .. every tear you shed only makes u stronger.”

Ariana recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to debut her new single, Thank U, Next, which is a tribute to her exes.

However, the singer got choked up while performing a verse about her parents’ estranged relationship.

In September, Ariana announced that she was having some time off to “heal” following the death of Mac.

After a cancelled appearance at the Emmys, her rep told People magazine: “Given the events of the past couple of years, Ariana is going to take some much needed time to heal and mend."

But the star was back in the studio weeks later, and has continued to work hard ever since.

Ariana’s Sweetener world tour begins in New York in March 2019.
