I lost 50 lbs – I'm obsessed with my go-to weight-loss snacks including a Funfetti treat and faux PB&Js | The Sun

AFTER losing 50 pounds and feeling happier than ever, a health and fitness guru shared the snacks that got her through her journey.

She said cutting down on calories doesn’t mean you have to ditch the flavors you love.

MaKayla Thomas (@makayla_thomas_fit) wasn’t feeling good about herself at her postpartum weight of 183 pounds, she revealed in a clip.

Now 50 pounds down, she said she feels “happy and healthy,” and is revealing the snacks that she “obsessed over” during her weight loss journey.

Her first healthy craving involved a flavor many people crave: funfetti.

Inside a bowl she tossed toasted coconut cashews, Nestle Toll House funfetti morsels, and strawberries.

“When I need just a little something sweet,” she wrote.

Sticking with her sweet tooth, MaKayla said Barebell bars taste just like candy bars – without all the sugar.

For a savory snack, she creates a charcuterie board out of Triscuit rosemary and olive oil crackers, cubed Colby and Monterey jack cheese, and Hormet’s turkey pepperoni.

When she wants a sweet breakfast, she heads to Walmart for their acai berry smoothie packs.

For a heartier breakfast, she has a hard-boiled egg, cut in half and stuffed with cheese, lettuce, and tomato.

The health guru’s sixth snack is one that most people would never think of creating.

She places a slice of Colby Jack cheese on the pan and tops it with a dill pickle and two Takis for a little spice.

And rounding out her list, she creates a sort of healthy peanut butter and jelly with honey graham crackers, peanut butter, and a couple of mashed up dates.

“Go-to weight loss snacks,” she wrote.

Viewers were excited to make the swaps.

“These look amazing,” one wrote.

“Ok but the egg is such a smart idea. I’ve got to try,” added another.
