2 simple but sensational gin cocktails that are perfect for Christmas

With only a couple of weeks to go until the big day itself, there’s can be lots to think about – especially if you’re hosting guests.

But whether it’s having all the family over on Christmas Day, or for a festive soiree, there’s always ways to help make it extra special.

If you’re into your spirits, then why not try making some Christmassy cocktails?

Gin is one of the most versatile tipples, and often makes an appearance over the festive season; a classic gin and tonic is one of the most universally loved aperitifs.

However, if you’re a bit bored of the standard G&T, we’ve got a couple of recipes perfect for sprucing up the beloved tipple this year.

Using Tanqueray No. Ten as a base, you can’t go wrong with the below, which need just a few ingredients to deliver a stunning beverage.

French 75

The French 75 is one of the classiest drinks around; it’s even served in a champagne flute.

The drink dates to World War I, and an early form was created in 1915 at the New York Bar in Paris – later Harry's New York Bar – by barman Harry MacElhone.

You can also mix and match depending on what you’ve already got in your bar cart, meaning if you haven’t got any champagne in, Prosecco or Cava work just as well.

Here’s how you can make one in no time by following just a few simple steps:
