Job weld done! Man has epic DIY fail by soldering his head stuck between a steel railing he is building

  • Man pokes his head through two of the metal bars which he is welding together
  • After fixing the bar firmly in place, he realises the hole is too small for his head
  • He is forced to cut through bar with an electric saw to free himself from the rails

This is the side-splitting moment a DIY job spectacularly fails when a man welds his own head between steel railings and can’t escape.

After realising his head won’t slide back through the metal frame which he has just created, the man is forced to cut through bar with an electric saw.

The 23-second clip, taken in an unknown location, shows the man standing on a raised platform surrounded by a pile of long steel rods.

The man, wearing jeans, a white top and gloves, is welding the end of bar horizontally on to an identical rod sticking up from the platform

He is seen poking his head through two of the metal bars which form a narrow rectangular frame.

Sparks fly as he attaches the metal poles together to make the horizontal pole rigidly fixed in place.

But after dropping his tools down on to the ground and trying to pull his head from the gap, he realises that the hole is too small and that he is stuck.

Fortunately, a circular saw is lying on the floor within arm’s reach and he crouches down and picks it up before cutting through his fine handiwork and yanking his head free.
