Team news

Arsenal welcome back Jack Wilshere, Petr Cech and Mesut Ozil for their Europa League semi-final first leg against Atletico Madrid on Thursday.

Wilshere, Cech and Ozil missed Sunday’s win over West Ham as they were given time to recover from ankle, hip injuries and illness respectively. Sead Kolasinac (ankle) is also available.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan (knee), Mohamed Elneny (ankle) and Santi Cazorla (Achilles) remain sidelined, however, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is ineligible.

Atletico have been boosted by the news that Diego Costa is fit to play.
