‘Bachelor’ mansion remains ‘unscathed’ by California wildfires

After the fate of the Agoura Hills mansion that plays host to the “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” was in question, it is safe to say that the mansion has not burned down despite their proximity to the fire.

The mansion seems to be intact and unharmed by the fires according to a tweet from USA Today’s Chris Woodyard. The tweet includes a photo of him and the mansion which shows no signs of damage.

“The house from ABC’s ‘The Bachelor’ survived the fire unscathed,” he wrote. However, he said: “House next door burned to the ground.”

The news comes a day after Mike Fleiss, the creator and executive producer of “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” tweeted: “I still don’t know exactly what condition #TheBachelor Mansion is in. But I do know that the beautiful community of Malibu — and the surrounding areas— are struggling. Good thoughts for all…”

Hopefully, he got word of the good news that the mansion is still standing.
