Hollywood ingénues are crossing their fingers and praying to land the lead role in “The Stylist.”
The novel by Hello! magazine’s editor-in-chief Rosie Nixon was optioned for the big screen by the equally blond and British Francesca Dutton — even before its paperback release this month.
The producer, whose movie “Nomis,” starring Henry Cavill, hits screens next week, told me she might cast an unknown to play the main character, a young assistant to a stylist who finds herself in LA at the height of awards season dealing with Hollywood’s most difficult divas.
The screenplay is being written by Karen McCullah, who co-wrote “Legally Blonde.”
