Carol Vorderman, 60, took to social media earlier this week as she shared that she had her first dose of the Covid 19 vaccine. Talking of her experience, the former Countdown legend has since opened up on her reunion with an old school pal who administered her vaccination.

After reviving her first dose of the Covid 19 vaccine, the former Countdown star took to Twitter as she shared her connection to the woman who vaccinated her.

In response to a tweet from the NHS worker, Carol wrote to her 457,800 followers: “This lady gave me my vaccination in Bristol this morning.

“We were chatting AND she went to the same school in Rhyl as me at the same time. #NorthWales.”

Carol went on to talk of how their connection went further as she had also attended a birthday party of the woman’s brothers.
