Chris Janson has revealed a surprise collaboration with Offset for his new Real Friends album.
Jansen teamed up with the Migos rapper for a bonus version of “Say About Me,” a song he had earlier released as a solo single.
Talking to Taste of Country Nights, Janson admitted he had Offset or his band Migos in mind from the beginning.
“I said I wanna write a song somewhere between Hank Jr. ’83 rowdiness and the Migos,” he said. His collaborators were on board but Offset wasn’t, yet.”
In July, Janson released a solo version of “Say About Me”, which does not feature Offset.
The new remix version will now be included as track No. 14 on the digital version of Janson’s new album.
Real Friends is the third studio album by Janson. It released on October 18, 2019 via Warner Records Nashville.
