Let’s face it: As much as we love Chris Pratt, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pine, and Chris Evans, it can be hard to tell the Hollywood actors apart. Besides having the same first name, they all star in our favorite superhero and sci-fi movies; their fitness games are all on-point; if you blurred your eyes and looked at the four of them, you’d be hard-pressed to tell which Chris was which.
To help you keep track of everyone’s favorite Chrises, we’re rounding up what each of them got up to during the week. Welcome to This Week in Chrises.
Chris Pratt: Is getting a “Generation Award” at 38

Look, Chris Pratt is great — the guy makes us laugh and knows how to crush it in the gym. But when MTV announced earlier this week that it’ll be honoring the Jurassic World actor with a Generation Award at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards, we had a real problem with it. Why? Because the guy is only 38 years old! That’s why.
As Variety noted, the award is typically given to someone who has made “significant contributions in film and television.” Sure, Pratt is responsible for some real bangers like Guardians of the Galaxy and Zero Dark Thirty, and yeah he played a major role in NBC’s Parks and Rec. OK fine, he totally deserves this award, but it’s really making us feel old to call Pratt a generational icon.
Chris Evans: Got matching tattoos with his Avengers BFFs
Chris Evans may almost be done with playing Captain America, but that doesn’t mean he’s forgetting where he came from.
Evans, along with his fellow OG Avengers Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner, revealed they each got matching tattoos to commemorate their time together on screen. (The only original holdout was The Hulk, A.K.A. Mark Ruffalo.)
“Thanks for the ink, Joshua Lorde!(and for letting all of us maim you in return),” Evans shared in a tweet. “Love to @RobertDowneyJr @Renner4Real @chrishemsworth Scarlett (we just need to get Ruffalo blackout drunk)”

According to ComicBook, the matching tattoo is a stylized version of the Avengers logo, along with the number “6” to represent the six original Avengers. While these tattoos sound cool, we hope they won’t come to regret them later.
Chris Hemsworth: Shredded some serious gnar at Kelly Slater’s wave pool
Besides getting inked with his fellow Avengers, Chris Hemsworth got down and dirty this week at Kelly Slater’s famous – and wildly exclusive – wave pool in Lemoore, California.
“Lucky enough to surf the best wave pool on the planet , big thanks to @kellyslater @wsl for the opportunity !! #wslsurfranch,” Hemsworth shared on Instagram.

Just in case you didn’t know, this hand-crafted, man-made wave is so hidden that many of the best surfers in the world have not only never been invited, but they don’t even know the wave pool’s actual address. But, you know, good for Hemsworth. As if being rich, handsome, talented, and married to his swolemate weren’t enough, he also gets to ride the world’s most perfect wave. Must be nice!
Chris Pine: Did nothing, but Reese Witherspoon loves him, so that’s enough
Chris Pine stayed out of the spotlight this week, but still managed to be everyone’s favorite — including Reese Witherspoon’s. While conducting an interview for Facebook’s “Meet My Mom” series, the Legally Blonde actress admitted Pine is her favorite of the Hollywood Chrises.
“I’ve now done two movies with Chris Pine,” Witherspoon said. “Lucky me.”
Witherspoon then asked her mom how many times she’s gotten to meet Pine. Her mom — who was rather upset — replied, “Never. I never get to meet the good ones.”
“Sorry to all my co-stars that my mother’s met,” Witherspoon quickly replied. “You’re not one of the good ones.”
