Chrissy Teigen and John Legend won’t be pulling out the stops with baby no. 2.
As the couple shared, they’re planning to give their little boy “hand-me-downs” from daughter Luna instead of buying new toys.
“We’re kind of just using Luna’s old things,” quipped Teigen, who is due in the next several weeks, to Entertainment Tonight. “It will be fine.”
Their little girl, who recently turned 2, hasn’t quite grasped the concept of having a sibling.
“She knows just as much as she knew eight months ago, which is nothing,” Teigen, 30, laughed. “So it’s going to be a surprise.”
Legend, 39, added to the conversation, “She knows to call it a ‘baby,’ but I don’t know if she [can] clarify what that really means to her yet.”
While the parents are ready to welcome a second child, they’re worried about Luna adjusting.
“Luna’s gonna be an issue. I think she’ll probably have some growing pains because she’s currently running the house right now,” Legend said at a Tribeca Talks event last week. “She’s used to being the center of everything right now so we’ll see how she adjusts to sharing the spotlight.”
