Christine Lampard is pregnant with her first child with husband Frank Lampard.
The sportsman, 39, revealed the news on Instagram on Wednesday, as he proudly shared a family snap, along with Frank’s daughters Luna, 12, and Isla, 10, from his previous relationship with Elen Rivas… as well as the family dog.
He captioned the image with the words: ‘We have some exciting news we wanted to share with you. The Lampard family is growing!

Proud dad: Frank wrote some lovely words to accompany the announcement as he shared the happy news
‘My gorgeous wife @christinelampard is pregnant and we all couldn’t be happier!!!’
A source told MailOnline that the couple told Luna and Isla the happy news on Monday, but said they don’t know the sex of the baby.
They said the girls were having fun trying to guess what it would be and have been coming up with names.
The news comes just three months after Christine, 39, confessed she would still love to have a baby with her husband Frank in the future.
The couple have been together for six years, but tied the knot with a lavish London ceremony back in 2015.
Maternal: Christine (here in February) confessed she would love to have a baby with husband Frank back in February but said she was also happy being a step-parent to his two daughters
Speaking to The Mirror at the time, she admitted it would be ‘wonderful’ to fall pregnant, but gushed that she is more than happy being a step-mother to the former footballer’s two daughters.
She said: ‘If it happens, of course it will be wonderful. If not we have the two girls – and one is about to embark on her teenage years, so that is a whole other chapter about to happen.
‘That is honestly where our heads are at, and we just enjoy life as best we can in between.’

Having been with Frank for almost ten years, the Loose Women panellist revealed she was very close to the two girls – who are equally grateful to have Christine in their life.
Speaking about a birthday card she received from Isla earlier this month, she said: ‘She went on to say ‘I love you being my stepmum’ and so I started to cry. I’m proud I have that kind of relationship with them.’
Christine and Frank met at the Pride of Britain Awards in 2009, and went on to tie the knot in London just before Christmas in 2015.

The Northern Irish star has previously admitted the pair love life ‘as it is’, and are sick of people pressing them over when they will have children.
Talking to the Mail on Sunday’s You Magazine last year, Christine admitted that she and Frank had no plans to start IVF – something many assumed of them, due to their ages – and will instead see if they will conceive naturally.
She explained: ‘I am always being asked when I am going to have a baby. Everyone seems to be fascinated by my body clock.
‘As far as I am concerned, my attitude is that I will wait and see what happens. I’m not pushing myself. I’m not getting stressed or unhappy. I’m a believer in what will be will be.’

However, she was firm in her view that the couple would not go down the route of IVF, as she does not want to put any strain on their relationship.
She continued: ‘[IVF] isn’t something we have thought about. I know friends who have torn themselves apart and jeopardised their relationship because going through IVF was so traumatic and I don’t know if I could do that to myself or Frank.
‘I’m not one of those women who was thinking about babies at the age of 18, and when I first met Frank it wasn’t on the agenda.
‘If it happens, it happens, but right now all is well in my world as it is.’
