The stars are aligning for Geoffrey Owens.
The “Cosby Show” star, who just a few weeks ago was photographed working at Trader Joe’s in New Jersey, has landed yet another job.
He’s reportedly booked a spot on an upcoming “NCIS: New Orleans” episode, reports TMZ.
Owens, who’s been an actor and acting coach for decades, arrived in New Orleans on Tuesday to film his guest spot.
He’s said to be on set for just two days and will play Commander Adams, a friend to character Dwayne Pride.
It’s the second job Owens, 57, has recently landed. Right after his financial misfortune made the news, Tyler Perry offered him a 10-episode deal on “The Haves and the Have Nots.”
It’s unclear when he’ll begin filming that show.
While the cash appears to be rolling in again for Owens, who said he took a job at Trader Joe’s because Bill Cosby’s scandal affected his royalty checks, it doesn’t appear that Nicki Minaj has made good on her promise to him.
The rapper shared last week that she’d like to send Owens a check for $25,000.
TMZ reports that Minaj has not yet sent over a check or even contacted Owens about it.
Requests for comment Owen and Minaj’s teams were not immediately returned.
