Rachel Riley on explaining the holocaust to her children
Countdown star Rachel Riley, 37, has shared how the dynamic between her and her husband Pasha Kovalev, 43, has changed since the couple welcomed their two children into the world.
After being partnered together in Strictly Come Dancing in 2013, the pair later started dating and eventually tied the knot in 2019.
Since then, the Essex-born presenter has given birth to two kids — Maven in the same year as her marriage and her youngest daughter, Noa, in November 2021.
However, Rachel has now revealed that since she and her spouse became parents again, they’ve put a temporary “pin” in “romance”.
In an interview with the Mirror, she stated: “All the romances and dates…we just kind of put a pin in it.“

We’re both quite patient and we know that once Noa is off the boob, we’ll get there again.”
Elsewhere in the chat, Riley insisted that she and Pasha are “done” with having children.
“We’re done in terms of kids. You can fit four in a hotel room or a car. So now when the girls grow out of clothes, they go to the charity shop. I’m not keeping them just in case,” she said.
As well as looking forward to rekindling the romance with Kovalev, Rachel admitted she’s excited to let her hair down and party with her nearest and dearest.
“I’m looking forward to celebrating one of my friends turning 40 at the end of the year,” she announced.

“We were all saving up ahead of our 30ths to go to Vegas. Everyone put it in their diaries – then everyone got pregnant, so we couldn’t go.”
The 8 Out of 10 Cats personality has also explained that she’s been thinking about how she will mark her own milestone birthday.
“But by 40, the kids are going to be a bit bigger. Maybe we can all get a house together, chuck the kids in the middle and leave the boys to look after them,” she stated.
“But I’m not thinking about 40 in terms of, ‘Oh, that’s a big number’. I’m just thinking of how we’re going to party.”
