Dancing On Ice star Linda Lusardi ‘extremely ill with coronavirus’

Former Dancing On Ice star Linda Lusardi has told fans on social media she’s ‘extremely ill with coronavirus’ as the Covid-19 virus continues to spread.

Fans shared their well wishes when the former Page 3 girl shared her illness in response to a fan who was chasing her for a message from Linda to be sent to their relative in lockdown.

Linda replied matter-of-frankly: ‘Sorry Kerry. I am extremely ill with Corona at the moment.’

The 61-year-old didn’t add anything else, or confirm whether she had tested positive for the contagious Covid-19 virus.

The original tweeter shared they felt bad for messaging the star, as they replied: ‘Oh my goodness! I feel terrible for even tweeting you about this! I hope you are much, much better soon x’

Another fan echoed the sentiments of many as they wrote: ‘Wishing you a very speedy recovery.’

Metro.co.uk contacted reps for comment.

Linda acted as a regular on the Loose Women panel and appeared on Dancing On Ice in 2008.

She finished in sixth place with pro dancer Daniel Whiston.

Linda, who married actor Samuel Kane with the pair sharing two children, Jack and Lucy, was a household name in the 70s and 80s.

In 2005 she was voted the most popular Page 3 girl in history.

In the UK another 32 people have died from coronavirus in just 24 hours as the national death toll reached 104.

The Department of Health updated the toll after Boris Johnson announced the NHS is set to test 25,000 people for coronavirus every day.

Concerns are growing in London amid reports that the capital could be put on lockdown this weekend in the fight against coronavirus.

Linda isn’t the first famous face to speak about having the illness, with the likes of Tom Hanks and Idris Elba confirming they’ve tested positive and remain in isolation as they recover.
