Dave Grohl is ‘ashamed’ of ‘massive jerk’ Donald Trump

Dave Grohl has seen first-hand what other countries think of America now that Donald Trump is in the White House.

“I remember when we were touring in the Nineties, people would come up to me and still spoke of wanting to come to the US, to see Texas and see the desert, to walk around the Big Apple,” he told British GQ in an interview published Wednesday. “The American Dream was still tangible, still desirable. Today, the American Dream is broken.”

The Foo Fighters frontman, 49, continued, “I’ve probably traveled internationally more than our current president and the one thing I understand that he doesn’t is that the world isn’t as big as you think it is. It is all in your neighborhood. India, Asia, Iceland aren’t other solar systems. I am ashamed of our president. I feel apologetic for it when I travel.”

He went on to say that the thing that stings the most about our current commander-in-chief is that he “seems like a massive jerk.”

However, when someone recently suggested that he run for president, the rocker was quick to shut them down.

“F–k that. And that’s my quote, right there,” he said. “I’m not doing an Oprah. I’m not going to go, ‘Well, you never know.’”
