David Tennant’s wife Georgia climbed out of window after ‘worst’ moment with children
David Tennant reveals his wife is having their fifth child in 2019
Georgia Tennant, 36, admitted that homeschooling her and husband David Tennant’s children has been a difficult task. The actress at one point even had to climb onto their roof for a much-needed breather.
“It was the worst,” Georgia said of having her children learn at home in a new interview.
“It brought out the worst in us as parents,” she added.
“Awful,” responded David. “And the worst in our children.”
Feeling overwhelmed by her responsibilities, Georgia decided to seek respite and found herself sitting on the roof of their house.

Georgia continued to this week’s Radio Times: “There was one point in something like week two, where I went, ‘I’m sorry. I just have to…’ and I climbed out the window and sat on our roof.
“It was the only place I could go where I knew that no one would think to look for me, because why would Mummy be sat on the roof?”
Georgia and David have been married since 2011 and are parents to five children; 18-year-old son Ty, nine-year-old Olive, seven-year-old Wilfred, five-year-old Doris and one-year-old Birdie.
David adopted Georgia’s son Ty from a previous relationship after they married.
The couple met when they worked together on an episode of Doctor Who, Georgia’s dad Peter Davison previously playing the Time Lord between 1981 and 1984.
Speaking on That Gaby Roslin Podcast, Georgia confessed that it was she who instigated their romance: “I very much forced it into happening.
“I was very much the driving force. Had I not worked quite so hard, it might not have happened.”
Turning her attention towards her husband, she added: “You couldn’t quite believe that’s why I was messaging you 400 times a day.

“You thought maybe I was lonely and wanted a chat… I very much fell into the stalker category.
“Thank goodness I did though. I just made a decision, I thought, ‘This is going to be good, let’s do this, I’ll just persevere until he gives in.'”
The couple are now working together on sitcom Staged for the BBC.
The show explores the relationship between David and Michael Sheen as actors, who were due to star in a show on the West End that could not go longer go ahead due to the coronavirus pandemic.
On social media, Georgia shared some behind the scene shots of the filming process, as she uploaded a snap of their front door with a sign that read: “Please do not knock or ring the bell. Filming in process”.
Alongside post she typed: “Happy ‘STAGED’ day! This sign was outside of our house for quite a lot of last year.
“So I’d like to dedicate Series 2 to our postman. Thanks for your patience.”
Staged airs tonight on BBC One at 9.45pm.
