Mike is said to have been working with Demi for six years and appeared in her documentary, Simply Complicated.

The 25-year-old, who had been sober for six years before her relapse, went to rehab in 2010 after battling addictions to alcohol and drugs.

According to The Sun , Demi sacked her sober coach three weeks ago, raising concerns among her friends and family.

And it’s said that her loved ones are desperate for her to go back to rehab.

An insider said: "She fired him a few weeks ago – they had a big argument and then they unfollowed each other on social media.

"It has been very ugly and messy as this guy was like ‘her rock’ that she leaned on after she and Wilmer [ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama] broke up.

"She has been alienating people all around her, but she is very much well liked in Hollywood – people just want her to get well and get help."

Mike has not posted about Demi’s apparent overdose and they have not been pictured together in months.

It’s been reported that the hospital ward where Demi is receiving treatment has been put on "lockdown".

Security on her floor at the Cedars Sinai Medical Centre in Los Angeles has been tightened up with bodyguards posted outside her room to prevent any curious passersby from sneaking a peek at the famous patient, Us Weekly reports.

Demi’s devastated mum Dianna De La Garza has been by her side ever since she heard that Demi was found unconscious at her Hollywood Hills home shortly after noon on Tuesday.

She’s reportedly told the hospital that nobody is allowed to visit her daughter without her express permission, amid fears Demi was falling in with a bad crowd who were encouraging her to use hard drugs.

Mirror Online has reached out to Mike for comment.
