Find out more inside…

“I’m actually working on my debut album pretty much every day now, which I’m very, very excited about,” Dove told host Jimmy Fallon. “I think the whole kind of- the idea is that you’re supposed to write like a hundred, choose your favorite 60, get it down to the best 40…”

“And those don’t have to be songs that you like, which is actually kind of a task,” she continued.

When asked how many she’s written so far, Dove replied, “Oh, I mean, close to that, definitely. You just write every day. That’s kind of the job, is you just go into the studio and you just nose to the grindstone write every day.”

Jimmy then asked if she will have any special guest stars on the album.

“Honestly, there will be, I think there will be a few surprise guest stars on the album. But my next single that I’m releasing is actually going to be a collab with my good buddy Diplo,” Dove teased. “I’m really excited.”

We can’t wait to hear the song they did together!

While on The Tonight Show, Dove also played a game of Password with Jimmy, Questlove and Nathan Lane. Check out the game and her interview right here!

If you missed it, Dove‘s last single was also a collab, with Khalid. Check out “We Go Down Together.”
