Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit praised Mesut Ozil before taking a swipe at the Gunners playmaker.
Petit spent three years with the north London side winning the Double in 1998 before moving to Barcelona and then back to the capital with Chelsea.
The Frenchman was taking part in a reddit Q&A and was asked "who the best player you played with at Arsenal and what do you think their best quality was?"
Petit seemed to swerve that part of the question but picked up on the latter which said: "Also, who is your favourite player in the current squad?"
His answer threw some serious shade at the German number 10 who he initially praised before bashing him for disappearing.
"In the current Arsenal team… I have no idea," he said, "Ozil when he actually wants to be a player."
Petit also opened up about the drinking culture in London when he arrived from Monaco in 1997.
"When I first came to London for Arsenal, it was Christmas here. And we had a party with all of the players," he added.
"We went into a fashionable nightclub, and we went for dinner and the night.
"As soon as I arrived, the English players were already drunk and doing a competition on who could take the most shots..
"So you can understand how difficult that was for me. I’m not a big boozer. I will let you guess who won."
