Sir Michael Caine attended the Raindance Film Festival screening of his new film Best Sellers and after party.

The comedy drama, which also stars Aubrey Plaza and Scott Speedman, follows a cranky author on a book tour.

Filming for the movie was due to start in 2019 but was inevitably pushed back because of the coronavirus pandemic, however it was finally screened in the UK at Curzon Mayfair last night.

An after party followed at the Dorchester Hotel.

At the event, the 88-year-old actor was awarded the Raindance Icon Award 2021.

He was pictured collecting the accolade from festival founder Elliot Grove and was assisted by a companion and a walking stick.

Michael was also seen with fellow actor Martin Freeman.

The 50-year-old Sherlock star attended the event with his girlfriend Rachel Mariam, days after his ex announced her engagement to Britain’s Got Talent star Jonathan Goodwin.
