The music video for Guns N’ Roses‘ classic ballad “November Rain” has become the biggest musical success on YouTube for both the 1980s and 1990s reaching over one billion views, Forbes reported.
The video for the 1992 single attracted an average of 560,000 views every day in 2017, the magazine reports.
The Cranberries‘ “Zombie” is second with 739 million views, while Nirvana‘s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” came in third with 727 million views.
Forbes also released additional data on Guns N’ Roses’ records on YouTube. The band’s music video “Sweet Child O’ Mine” has the most views (692 million) of any video from the 1980s.
The reunited band is scheduled to hit the road this month in Europe as part of the “Not in This Lifetime” tour. The Asian leg will start in November.
