I’m A Celebrity ‘sign up’ Giovanna Fletcher for new series based in Welsh castle

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! have reportedly signed up famed chick lit author and podcast host Giovanna Fletcher.
The brunette beauty is from rather a famous family, with her husband being former McFly singer Tom Fletcher, and her brother, The Only Way Is Essex star Mario Falcone.
She will be heading to Wales to battle it out in the elements with stars including Olympian Mo Farah, presenter Vernon Kay and journalist Victoria Derbyshire.

This year’s show will be hosted at the chilly Gwrych Castle due the coronavirus pandemic making it logistically impossible to hold it in the Australian outback.

A source revealed to The Sun: “Giovanna is a brilliant signing. She’s incredibly popular on Instagram with mums and has over 1.3million followers.
“She’s moved in famous circles for years. Not only is she best pals with Emma Willis but she’s close to royalty, married to a boyband star and her brother is Mario Falcone from Towie. She’s decided the time is right to embrace the limelight.”
Giovanna is a best-selling author who has published a total of 11 books.
She is also host of the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, which recently had the Duchess of Cambridge, aka Kate Middleton, on as a guest.
It was recently announced by ITV that the show will begin on Sunday 15 November at 9pm.
The reported date stays true to form, with the show traditionally starting on the Sunday nearest to the middle of November, running for three weeks and ending in early December.
It was feared that the show may not be able to go ahead this year as Wales entered a nationwide lockdown, with fans being relieved when the castle confirmed the series would go ahead.

They tweeted last month: "Following the announcement today from the First Minister, the overriding message is that filming CAN continue in Wales providing related activity cannot be undertaken from home, and there is full compliance with Welsh law.
"We cannot wait to see I'm A Celebrity on our screens!"
