Inside Daniel Kaluuya’s Relationship With Girlfriend Amandla Crichlow

Daniel Kaluuya and Amandla Crichlow have been dating for at least a few years but, despite their long-standing relationship, not a whole lot is known about the super-private couple.

In early January 2018, months after Kaluuya and Crichlow, an actress, were first spotted together at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards, Us Weekly confirmed Kaluuya also brought Crichlow as his date to the 2018 Golden Globes, where he was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy. The actor was spotted engaging in small talk with his leading lady throughout their evening. The couple then attended an after-party, thrown by Focus Features at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

During their appearance at the after-party, as reported by an eyewitness, Kaluuya and Crichlow stayed close to one another and at one point in the evening, they hit the dance floor to show off their moves as The Weeknd’s “I Can’t Feel My Face” played. Then, at another point, they enjoyed a conversation with Kaluuya’s Get Out director, Jordan Peele.

While Kaluuya and Crichlow were clearly committed, they chose to refrain from speaking of their romance publicly. Here’s what we know.

Daniel Kaluuya and Amandla Crichlow have plenty in common

According to a second report shared by Bustle in March 2021, Daniel Kaluuya and Amandla Crichlow actually work alongside each other at his production company, 59%, with her serving as a producer. In recent years, Crichlow has appeared in a number of TV projects and shorts. As the outlet explained, most of Crichlow’s work has been on the small screen, where she appeared alongside Helen Mirren in Prime Suspect 7: The Final Act, and was also featured in The Bill.

Although all of Crishlow’s social media accounts are private, Bustle confirmed, through her IMDb account, that she has acted in two short films, Anonymous in 2012, and Cowboys in 2009.

In addition to her work in entertainment, Crichlow also has ties to activism through her late father, Frank Crichlow, who The Guardian described as a “stalwart symbol of Black urban resistance in the face of police persecution.” It sounds like she and Kaluuya could be a match made in heaven!
