John Mellencamp Earns First No. 1 On Top Rock Albums Chart

John Mellencamp has earned his first No. 1 hit on the Top Rock Albums chart with Other People’s Stuff.

According to Billboard, Mellencamp landed in the No. 1 position on Billboard‘s Top Rock Albums chart for the first time in his career, as his new album Other People’s Stuff earned 44,000 equivalent album units in the week ending December 13.

Other People’s Stuff, Mellencamp’s 24th studio album, also debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Indiana rocker had previously scored three No. 3 albums on the Top Rock Albums chart, which includes 2007’s Freedom Road, 2008’s Life Death Love and Freedom and 2017’s Sad Clowns & Hillbillies.
