Katy Perry ‘upset’ at Taylor Swift for posting PRIVATE apology letter

Fighting again already? Katy Perry (left) is reportedly ‘upset’ with Taylor Swift (right) again, just days after she extended an olive brand to end their six-year feud

‘Katy expected that Taylor would post something about it,’ a friend told The Sun Online. ‘But she didn’t expect the actual letter to go on social,’ says her friend.

‘The thing is, you can only see part of what Katy wrote and it looks like she’s taking sole responsibility for the entire feud.

‘Without context, it looks like she’s taking the blame for everything and obviously there’s a lot more to it than that.’

There it is: The white note with black writing and a dog sticker on the back was from her arch enemy Katy Perry, who the blonde Look What You Made Me Do signer has been feuding with for a staggering six years

Hard to see: It was difficult to see what Katy wrote but it looks like it said, ‘I’ve being doing some reflecting on our miscommunications and though feelings between us …. would to clear the air …deeply sorry for’

Katy’s letter began: ‘Hey old friend, I’ve being doing some reflecting on our miscommunications and though feelings between us.’

On posting the contents of an envelope sealed with a puppy dog sticker, Taylor made it very clear who it was from, writing ‘Thank you Katy’ in red with pink hearts.

Swift – who began her Reputation tour that evening –  specifically snapped part of the letter that read ‘deeply sorry’.

A smart move? Taylor made a very private note public by sharing it to social media on Tuesday

Taylor Swift stars in the latest DirectTV commercial where she hilariously rides a giant cat with a unicorn horn.

The concept was pretty far out there with a wardrobe to match. The Bad Blood singer donned a Marc Jacobs sweater along with a pair of Ashish sequin shorts, both adorned with a rainbow motif.

Sadly both the sweater and bottoms have now sold out but you can shop for the latest from Marc Jacobs at Nordstrom by following the link on the right.

The rainbow theme seems to have caught on in the fashion world because we rounded up plenty of color creations that favor Taylor's top in the edit below. So scroll on through and choose your fave!

  • On friendlier terms: Katy and Taylor are seen together at the 2011 American Music Awards in LA

Katy added: ‘She wouldn’t speak to me. I do the right thing anytime that it feels like a fumble. It was a full shut-down and then she writes a song about me and I’m like ‘OK, cool, cool, cool. That’s how you wanna deal with it?”

The hitmaker admits that her single Swish Swish is a direct ‘reaction’ to Taylor’s, as she says the star has to learn about ‘the law of cause and effect’.

She continued: ‘But, what I wanna say is that I’m ready for that B.S. to be done. Now, there is the law of cause and effect. You do something and there’s going to be a reaction. And trust me daddy, there’s going to be a reaction. It’s all about karma.’

She has wings: Perry was seen at the Met Gala on Monday night in Versace

But Katy doesn’t want to fight with Taylor any longer, as she believes that women need to come together in order to ‘heal the world’.

Speaking to James Corden during an episode of The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special in 2017, Katy said: ‘I think personally that women together, not divided, and like none of this petty s***.

‘Women together will heal the world.’

Taylor has also been fighting with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

A list pals: Perry with Madonna and Donatella Versace at an after party on Monday

She alluded to the fall-out on Tuesday night, when she took to Instagram to show off a new golden snake microphone, ready for the tour.

Taylor reflected: ‘A couple of years ago, someone called me a snake on social media and it caught on. And then a lot of people called me a lot of names on social media.

‘I went through some really low times for a while because of it. I went through some times when I didn’t know if I was gonna get to do this anymore and I guess the snakes…’

‘I wanted to send a message to you guys that if someone uses name calling to bully you on social media and even if a lot of people jump on board with it, that doesn’t have to beat you. It can strengthen you instead.’

Speaking out: The singer took a break from the opening night of her Reputation Stadium Tour on Tuesday, when she told the crowds that she was labelled a ‘snake’ on social media and didn’t think she could perform again – alluding to her fight with Kim and Kanye
