Kourtney Kardashian sparked excitement among fans when she shared a photo of what they thought was a pregnancy test.
The reality star, 43, has faced regular rumours that she could be pregnant recently and she hasspoken about wanting another childwith husband Travis Barker.
Kourtney has three children – Mason, 12, Penelope, nine, and Reign, seven – with her ex Scott Disick.
Her husband Travis Barker also has two children, Landon, 18, and Alabama, 16, with his ex Shanna Moakler.
Some fans thought Kourtney could soon be set to add a fourth child to her family after she shared a photo of a test to her Instagram story – although it turned out to be a Covid test.
Posting a photo of the white test device to Instagram, Kourtney captioned the photo: “A Kourt Covid tip”.
Although the photo was of a covid test, some fans mistook it for a pregnancy test at first, taking to Reddit to share their excitement.
One shared the image on the site and wrote: “I thought that was a pregnancy test”.
Meanwhile, another added: “Oop me too!”
Kourtney has spoken about trying for a baby with husband Travis – including some strange techniques the couple have been trying to increase their chance of conceiving.
Appearing on the family’s Hulu TV show The Kardashians to discuss the strange advice their fertility doctor gave, Kourtney explained that she’d been instructed to “drink” Travis’s semen “four times a week” as the couple try to have a baby, as it was supposedly supposed to help her thyroid.
She said: “He told us to… Well he told me that the thing that would help was drinking his c**e like four times a week.”
Travis laughed: “I love this doctor”, before suggesting that his sperm must be “grade A”.
The couple have also been taking part inweird and wacky rituals to try and improve their fertility, such as a Panchakarma cleanse which Kourtney said would remove the “toxins in our tissue”.
A Panchakarma cleanse, which translates to "five actions", usually includes a pre-cleanse, an actual cleanse and a post-cleanse process to help detoxify the body.
Travis and Kourtney had to abstain from sex, exercise and caffeine, and then visited a spa for seven days in a row to attend four-hour treatments.
Kourtney even had a yoni steam, otherwise known as a vaginal steam, which involves sitting over steaming water filled with herbs.
The reality star also had a ginger foot bath to “bring warmth to the womb”, while Travis wore a hat filled with oil which had to soak into his head to relax his mind.
During the show, the couple were sadly told that their latest round of IVF was not successful as Kourtney’s egg retrieval failed.
She told the cameras that the medical procedure has not gone “the way that we would’ve hoped.”
"He was able to retrieve the egg but it didn't make it to the embryo stage. We start back again and we are at Dr. A's office to check my follicles," she explained.
But when they attended another appointment, the couple were given good news as Kourtney's doctors found a healthy follicle.
Kourtney added: "It's nice to hear good news and have some positivity, so we love that but we just wait to hear the final thoughts from Dr. Wood once he receives my blood work and really gets to look at the follicles."
