Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling spark engagement rumours as presenter sports huge diamond ring

Love Island host Laura Whitmore has sparked speculation that she’s engaged to Iain Stirling after flashing an engagement ring.

The TV star couldn’t stop smiling as she stepped out wearing a large yellow diamond ring on her finger while out near her London home.

The ring has sparked speculation that Laura and her voiceover star beau are set to tie the knot after meeting in 2016.

Last month Laura gushed over her comedian boyfriend after joining Love Island to work alongside him on the ITV dating show.

The TV star, 34, opened up on how a romance sparked between herself and her voiceover beau, saying he was initially “intimidated” by her.

The stunning presenter said she was “forced to make the first move” on Iain, with their romance now going from strength to strength.

Speaking on JD’s In The Duffle Bag podcast, the Irish host said: “When we first met he didn’t even hit on me, he was too nervous to hit on me! I think he was intimidated by me.

“I remember Iain was too scared to ask me out so in the end I had to ask him out.”

Laura then revealed how she started talking to Iain, who asked her to go out for a drink.

“It took nine months but we got there! I was like ‘let’s just go for a drink,’ I think I had to make the moves on him,” she explained.

The couple are said to have “hit it off instantly” after meeting at an ITV party in 2016, but didn’t make things official until 2017.

Laura later confirmed she had a boyfriend in August 2017, confirming at the launch of a London restaurant:"Yeah he’s my boyfriend. He’s lovely. I’ve got him as my screensaver. I’ve known him for ages."
