Lauryn Hill Apologizes For Recent Tardiness

Lauryn Hill apologized to her French and Belgian fans for arriving on stage two hours late and only performing a 30 minute set in Paris and in Brussels.

The singer, who is currently in Europe for the 20th anniversary tour of Miseducation, blamed the delay on production issues in a detailed explanation on Twitter.

“We’re working through the kinks of moving the production to Europe, with time changes and curfew restrictions, we’ve had a few challenges in these early shows,” she wrote.

“With deep gratitude I come on stage to perform an album that means so much to so many. Every day we push past inertia to present something sincere. Thank you for coming, supporting and for your patience and understanding,” she added.

Hill is next scheduled to perform at the UK Manchester Arena in Manchester on Monday.
