Lili Reinhart has always been open and honest with her fans on social media about her mental health.
However, getting to that point, the Riverdale star revealed that she’s learned some important lessons along the way.
The biggest one is that “it’s OK to not know what to do.”
Lili shares with Variety that she gets asked, “‘What do you do when you feel anxious?’ a lot, and what I do to help my anxiety is not necessarily going to help anyone else. It’s a very personal thing.”
“You have to figure out what’s going to work for you and what doesn’t, and it’s going to change over time,” she continues. “Breathing exercises didn’t necessarily work for me. Writing did, and driving did, but driving makes some people anxious! It’s different for every person.”
Her advice for anyone reading: Don’t “feel so pressured to figure myself out so quickly because, well, I’m still figuring it out.”
