Liverpool flop rules out return to Anfield despite reports of return

Suso has ruled out a return to Liverpool despite claims that Jurgen Klopp is interested in paying his release clause.

The Spanish star was branded a flop on Merseyside after making just 21 appearances before being sold to AC Milan.

Suso, now 24, has flourished in Serie A and reports had claimed that Kop boss Klopp was tempted to bring him back.

His release clause stands at €40million (£35m) and his current deal runs until the summer of 2022.

But he now says that he has no intention of returning to the Premier League.

“I have always said that I am very well here, that I found myself very well and that there is nothing that can make me think I have to leave," Suso told Tuttosport.

“The team and if the company wants to grow with me, I will be happy because now Milan is my home.

“We do not have to start over from scratch again.

“There is finally a base on which to add new elements, (manager Gennaro) Gattuso knows what should be right and we’ll start from that point.”

Suso has made 48 appearances for AC Milan this season, scoring eight goals and assisting a further 14 more.

Would Suso be a good signing for Liverpool?
