Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson is well known for enjoying a laugh, but he may have taken his latest prank on his girlfriend Zara McDermott too far.
Posting a clip on social media, Sam shows the moment he switches on a vacuum cleaner before sneaking into the living room and waking Zara, 24, who is sleeping on the sofa by placing the nozzle onto her mouth.
As the screen turns to black and white, the Edith Piaf song Non, Je ne regrette rien (translated into English as I do not regret anything) plays, and slow motion footage shows the moment Zara wakes up and realises what is happening.
Sam, 28, then falls back onto the sofa laughing while Zara shouts: "That was horrible."
Poor Zara may have become accustomed to being the butt of Sam's practical jokes on social media, but he may have taken it too far this time as she said: "Why did you hurt me?"
In an effort to comfort her, Sam smiles and strokes her leg and says: "I love you so much it hurts."

While he might be annoying to live with, it looks like the pair are still as loved up as ever.
Zara later commented on the post, which has racked up more than 25,000 likes, saying: "Genuinely was half asleep when you came in and I thought … just ignore him, he’ll go away. Little did I know you were about to vacuum my lips."
Sam's Instagram page often shows clips of him pranking his girlfriend, with a recent showing him with a giant cardboard cutout of his best friend Pete Wicks.
In the video, Sam makes breakfast for the cutout of his The Only Way is Essex pal instead of Zara, pours out glasses of wine for himself and the cutout, and head straight for a cuddle with it instead of his girlfriend.
The final shot shows him rolling over in bed with Zara to cosy up to the cardboard cutout, with Zara looking more than a little annoyed.
Zara isn't the only victim of Sam's jokes, with another recent post showing him pranking big sister Louise Thompson of Made in Chelsea fame by throwing a paper plate with cream into her face.
Zara and Sam met when she joined Love Island in 2016. After she failed to find true love on screen, she messaged Sam, having seen him on Made in Chelsea.
The happy couple confirmed they are together late last year.
