Mama June’s 18-Year-Old Daughter Pumpkin Is Married in Las Vegas

Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Shannon tied the knot with her fiance Joshua Efird earlier this week, after welcoming their first child last December.

Mama June’s daughter Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon is a mother and a wife at 18 years old. The elder sister of Honey Boo Boo a.k.a. Alana Thompson got married to her fiance Joshua Efird in Las Vegas on Monday, April 30, TMZ reports.

According to the site which obtained photos of the family at the wedding, the whole crew had dinner at Buca di Beppo following the ceremony. In the pictures, the bride was seen wearing a white wedding gown while being surrounded by her friends as they were standing outside. Mama June a.k.a. June Shannon and Honey Boo Boo, meanwhile, wore matching red dresses.

Sources say TV cameras were shooting the wedding party and the nuptials will likely be featured in the new season of “Mama June: From Not to Hot“.

Pumpkin and Joshua got engaged in June 2016 after only dating for nine months. She was only 16 at the time and Joshua was 19. June reportedly approved of the engagement because the kids agreed to take things slow, and Pumpkin promised they’d wait until she was 18 to tie the knot.

Pumpkin announced her pregnancy in August last year and the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Ella Grace, in December.

“I’m really excited to be a new mom, but there is some challenges that I’m going to have to face,” Pumpkin confessed when revealing her pregnancy in a video posted on WE tv’s website. “I’m really nervous about having a baby because it does have to come out of my hoo-ha.”

She has been gushing her baby and her now-husband on social media, writing in January, “God has truly blessed me with both of you. I love both of you with every ounce of love my body holds. [heart emoji]”

She also shared her photo with two of the most previous people in her life, captioning it with “Wouldn’t want to do a red carpet event with anyone else [heart emoji]. I love you both so much and wouldn’t be complete without you two.”
