Millie Bobby Brown Was Giving All the Princess Vibes Last Night
Teen starlets often dress far too similarly to their 20-and-30-year old counterparts. In a perfect style moment of looking exactly her age—in the dreamiest way possible—Millie Bobby Brown embraced her teen queen status in a stunning Dolce and Gabbana gown. The “Stranger Things” actress walked the red carpet at the “Time 100” Gala last night in the floral applique dress. Brown was included in Time’s recently released 2018 Most Influential People List, for which she was interviewed by actor Aaron Paul.
It’s an incredible honor for anyone, especially at such a young age—but let’s get back to that gown for a moment. With its cap-sleeves and cinched-in waist, shirring detail and a full, tulle skirt—not to mention hyper real cascading flowers—it’s fair to say we half expect a blue bird to land on Millie’s shoulder Disney-style in this dress.
In keeping with the ultra-feminine vibe of her Dolce frock, Brown’s beauty look leveraged icy blue eyeshadow, a pretty pink pout and a loose updo with face-framing waves. In other words, Brown was living her best life last night and looked the part.
Unfortunately, the young actress did experience some disappointment on the red carpet. When asked what she was most looking forward to, Brown was quick to say seeing fellow-honoree, musician Cardi B.
Upon finding out she was a no-show, the ever-empathetic Eleven quickly forgave the rapper, according to Time, saying, “Why didn’t she come? Give me—oh wait—she is pregnant. She is pregnant. I’ll give her that, but that’s it. Next time, she better be here. She better turn up.” Whoever said being a teen is easy?
