More Love Island heartbreak as another 2018 couple announce their split

Reality stars Ellie Brown and Charlie Brake have become the latest Love Island couple to announce their break-up.

After leaving the show ahead of the final in August, the pair moved in together, jetted off on numerous luxury holidays and even discussed starting a family, but it was announced on Tuesday their two month relationship was over.

There had been suspicions the pair had called it quits after Ellie was pictured moving out of Charlie’s Chelsea mansion over the weekend.

The millionaire playboy then confirmed the news on his Instagram story.

In a brief statement he said: "Just to inform you all, Ellie and I have decided to part ways. I wish her all the best!"

Ellie has yet to comment on the news, but over the weekend she revealed she was moving into a place of her own.

The reality star shared a snap of her taxi journey as she told her followers: "On my way to pick up keys to my first ever apartment."

She then revealed she was taking 25 boxes of clothes and shoes with her.

It’s not been a good month for Love Island couples as finalists Laura Anderson and Paul Knopps called it quits shortly before Jack Fowler and Laura Crane followed suit.

But it’s not all been bad news for the ITV2 dating show.

Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen, who met on the 2016 series, became the first couple from the show to get married.

The happy couple tied the knot in a lavish Essex ceremony where they were supported by many of the show’s former islanders including Gabby Allen , Kady McDermott and Eyal Booker.
