Naga Munchetty regularly interacts with fans on social media about her work life and her love of sport. It was no different when the 45-year-old was asked if she was “happiest” fronting BBC Breakfast or putting her skills to the test on the golf course.

The person in question took to the micro-blogging site and quizzed: “@TVNaga01…Here’s a question for you Naga. Are you happiest fronting the BBC Breakfast or playing golf? (Careful answer required).”

The self-confessed “slightly obsessed golfer” swiftly responded to the viewer’s query, as she explained you can not compare the two.

In view of her 223,000 Twitter followers, Naga penned: “Comparing apples to pears. No need to choose!” followed by a wink-emoji.

The social media user replied: “Great answer. That’s me told!”

She admitted she was “chuffed” with her victory at Batchworth Park Golf Club and was off to celebrate the win.

The BBC star captioned her social media post, which appeared on both Instagram and Twitter: “Club Champion again!”

She continued: “Toughest 2 days of golf for me for a long time. Am So Chuffed.”

“Job done @batchworthparkgc,” she added, tagging the golf club into the post.

“Now to celebrate at the 19th hole,” Naga signed off.
