Neville describes England’s path to World Cup final as "unbelievable"

Gary Neville believes England have an "incredible opportunity" to reach the 2018 World Cup final.

With the Three Lions having finished second and Germany crashing out in the group stages, the route to the final has been filled with slightly easier opposition.

Should Gareth Southgate’s side beat Colombia on Tuesday evening then they will face Sweden in the quarter-finals.

And Neville doesn’t foresee any issues against Colombia as he claimed they have no world class players.

"This path is unbelievable. It is unbelievable," the former Manchester United star said on ITV.

"And Colombia have not got one world class player. [Radamel] Falcao was world class three or four years ago, he’s still a danger they have to deal with him.

"James Rodriguez not playing for Colombia and they path they have is an incredible opportunity."
