Game of Thrones actor Samuel Small shared pictures of himself with Archie on his Instagram page after learning of his friend’s death.

As part of a lengthy statement, he wrote: “To my brother Archie. I still can’t quite comprehend that you have passed.

“You still had so much life to live and I’d give anything for you to keep on living it.

“My heart aches all day and everyday thinking about you and I just wish I could talk to you just one more time so you could know how much I loved you.

“I vow to make you proud with every last breath. Love you from now until infinity. Rest in power bro.”

The actor said the late CBBC star was “so full of life” and “touched so many people’s hearts”.

He also praised Archie for supporting him through his “lowest points”.

He concluded: “Archie loved his friends and family so so dearly and we hope he knows how much he truly was loved.

“We never know what tomorrow will bring so hug the ones you love extra tight as Archie always did.”

Nicholas’ wife responded to the heartfelt post from her Instagram page.

She wrote: “He will love you and watch over you forever. Love you dearly,” alongside white heart emojis.

Samuel replied: “Love you mamma Lyndhurst.”

Lucy’s last post was a gushing tribute to Nicholas on their 21st wedding anniversary last month.

She praised her spouse for the “beautiful life” he had given her and Archie, adding she is “truly blessed”.

Archie was found dead on September 22.

Emergency services were called “to a report of a concern for welfare” at the family home, where he was declared dead.

His death is being treated as “unexplained but not suspicious” and police are not investigating further.

A file has been passed onto the West London coroner and an inquest will be opened imminently.

Archie followed in the footsteps of his dad and was an actor best known for his role as Ollie Coulton in So Awkward.

He also had minor roles in Casualty and Bad Education.

Nicholas previously said he wasn’t keen on his son being an actor, but later praised him for his talent.

He said in an interview with The Guardian: “When Archie said he wanted to be an actor, I said, ‘I can’t offer any advice other than please don’t do it’.”

Recalling Archie’s response, he added: “‘Daddy, I just want to entertain people’.”

“I told Lucy, ‘If I ever hear him say the f-word – ‘famous’ – the deal’s off.” He never has’.”
