Prince Charles Shares Never-Before-Seen Photo of Prince George in New Exhibition

We’ve been graced with an abundance of royal family photo ops in the past few months and now, we’re about to get a sneak-peek at some private, never-before-seen family photos thanks to Prince Charles.

In honor of his 70th birthday this November, Charles is opening a new exhibition at Buckingham Palace titled ‘Prince & Patron.’ The exhibition, which will be open to the public starting tomorrow, features over 100 pieces of personal family photographs, private paintings, and more belongings from the royal’s home.

A never-before-seen portrait of Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince George is notably included. In a sneak-peek at the exhibition, the sweet family photo can be seen framed on table alongside other knick knacks. The picture shows Charles holding his infant grandson Prince George alongside proud dad, Prince William.

A previously unseen photo of Prince Charles with one of his grandchildren (either George or Charlotte) is part of the “Prince and Patron”, an exhibition which shows over a hundred works of art selected by Prince Charles as part of the summer opening of Buckingham Palace. – Who do you all think it is? Given that George turns five years old this Sunday, the family photo dates back to 2013 when the young prince was born.

“This is a very personal show,” Vanessa Remington, senior curator of paintings at the Royal Collection Trust, told BBC, “It’s a departure because it is not a standard museum display and the works aren’t shown in isolation, they’re shown in profusion very, very densely.”

Other family photos included feature snaps from Prince George’s christening, Meghan and Harry’s wedding, and a photo from Prince Harry’s time in the army.

The Prince & Patron exhibition will be on display at Buckingham Palace from July 21 through September 30. And here’s to hoping there are more sweet photos of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis included.
