Prince William smiles through pain of royal wedding wardrobe fail

The royal wedding went off without a hitch – for everyone except Prince William.

Best man Wills suffered a major wardrobe fail and was busted complaining about it en route to the St George’s Chapel at Windsor.

"My trousers are too tight!" the father-of-three was caught telling Harry, admitting his military uniform was on the small side.

Battling on, he promised, "I’ll see how it is," with reference to his snug get-up.

The Queen had to grant her permission for her grandsons to wear the frockcoat uniform of the Blues and Royals, which is part of the Huusehold Cavalry of the British Army.

The slim-fitting trousers are called ‘overalls’ and are fastened by a leather strap.

The boys’ smart oufits were cut and made by hand by Dege & Skinner on Savile Row, so would have originally fit William like a glove.

Normally, you’re not allowed to wear the uniform if you’re unshaven but Hazzer somehow managed to swing it and kept his ginger beard for the day.

Arriving at the church, Harry anxiously asked turned to Wills and asked, "Is she here?"

But looking round, he told his little bro, "No, not yet. I don’t know actually."

Despite the trouser glitch, Wills nevertheless did his job to perfection, handing over the Cleave and Company rings as Harry married Meghan Markle .

And more importantly, he helped his nervous little brother keep calm as they made the long walk to the chapel, with the close brothers enjoying one last touching chat before the service.
