‘Queer Eye’ star Tan France to release a memoir
“Queer Eye” fashion guru Tan France is working on a memoir.
France, 35, will unpack his childhood growing up in Northern England in the yet-to-be-titled tome, according to Entertainment Weekly.
He will write about coming out to his Pakistani Muslim family at age 34 and telling them he married his partner of 10 years.
The memoir, set for a spring 2019 release via St. Martin’s Press, will also include style advice, lists and various platitudes he’s picked up along the way.
“The book is meant to spread joy, personal acceptance, and most of all, understanding,” France told the site in a statement. “Each of us is living our own private journey, and the more we know about each other, the healthier and happier the world will be.”
France’s book news comes days after this “Queer Eye” co-star Karamo Brown proposed to his longtime boyfriend.
Fellow “Queer Eye” star Antoni Porowski also recently landed a cookbook deal.
The show was picked up for season two earlier this year.
