Loose Women: Eamonn jokes about kiss with Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford, 60, shared on Instagram that someone has set up a fake Facebook profile entitled “Ruth Langsford fan_page” and had been messaging followers to offer them internet currency, also known as Bitcoin. The This Morning host warned that the catfish had nothing to do with her and she “definitely” is not involved.

Ruth shared two screenshots of the fake account that has used photographs from her personal Instagram account to hoodwink fans.
The presenter typed: “Please do not follow this Ruth Langsford_ fan page.
“It has NOTHING to do with me and I definitely have NOTHING to do with Bitcoins.
“Please delete it if you are following. Thank you,” she added.

Underneath fans shared their disappointment towards the fake page, as they said that there should be more of a clampdown on online scammers.
One said: “Scammers really will try anything. Thanks for posting to let us all know. Merry Xmas to you and Eamon x.”
Another replied: “Lots of celebrity fake pages doing the rounds at the moment.”
A third commented: “Thanks for that. Xx hard times for people xxx. Happy Christmas xxx.”
It comes as Ruth and her husband Eamonn Holmes bid farewell to their This Morning slot last week, after they were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
The star penned an emotional farewell, until they return in February to cover the half-term shows.
Sharing a GIF of herself and her husband waving from the iconic blue sofa, Ruth wrote: “That’s Showbiz baby!!! Thank you all for your wonderful messages yesterday @eamonnholmes and I were overwhelmed by your kindness.
“As we said though, we’ll be back in February…until then we wish you all the best Christmas you can possibly have and here’s to healthier, happier times in 2021.”

However, Ruth will still be hosting her Ruth Langsford Fashion programme weekly on QVC, where she shares her latest designs with viewers.
The star recently missed her slot, as she spent time with her husband on his special day as she paid tribute to him over on Instagram.
Ruth typed: “Happy Birthday to my wonderful, handsome, kind, generous, clever, big hearted and incredibly funny husband @eamonnholmes Love you.”
Touched Eamonn commented: “Well that’s a very nice thing to say …. albeit true. Here’s to a Birthday vaccine for all.”
Other celebs also sent their birthday wishes, including Amanda Holden, Ola Jordan, and Melanie Sykes.
Ruth took to her Instagram page again later in the day, this time sharing a snap of Eamonn grinning outside a front door with a huge Christmas wreath on it.
He was dressed smartly in a black suit jacket and white shirt, with Ruth writing: “Birthday celebration with a Christmas feel for @eamonnholmes Happy Birthday handsome!”
