Ryan Phillippe’s ex-girlfriend claims he won’t remember allegedly attacking her because of his alleged drug use.
Elsie Hewitt claimed in new documents that Phillippe uses drugs including “cocaine, ecstasy, psychedelic mushrooms, and steroids,” according to court records obtained by Page Six.
She demanded that he fork over all records relating to his physical training routine and workout schedule and “his use of any supplements or drugs” and all records “relating to any drugs and alcohol use” throughout 2017 in prior documents — but he has yet to turn anything in to the court.
Now Hewitt, 22, wants Phillippe, 43, fined $3,160 for failing to turn over documents in a timely manner as the documents “are directly relevant to demonstrate [his] ability before, during and after the alleged incident to recollect the incident correctly. They are also directly relevant to demonstrate [his] cognition, perception, judgment and decision-making abilities before, during and after the alleged incident.”
The Blast first reported the new development in the case.
Page Six reported that Hewitt first filed her $1 million suit in September 2017, alleging Phillippe assaulted her in July of that year.
Phillippe denied her allegations in his own court documents in November, saying she was trying to extort him.
“Ms. Hewitt is desperately grasping at straws,” Phillippe’s lawyer Shawn Holley told us of her new allegations. “Ryan remembers clearly what happened that night and fully cooperated with law enforcement in the hours following this incident. It bears repeating that criminal charges were NOT filed against Ryan, giving credence to our position that Ms. Hewitt’s claims are false.”
