After announcing the happy news she’s expecting her third child, Sam Faiers has admitted she would “love” a home birth.
The former TOWIE star, 30, who is reportedly planning more children in the future, previously gave birth to her daughter Rosie, four, at home – which she and partner Paul Knightley filmed for their reality show, The Mummy Diaries.
While in labour with her first child Paul Jr, now six, she was rushed to hospital due to her blood pressure.
Speaking on her new podcast with sister Billie Shepherd, The Sam & Billie Show, Sam admitted: “I would love another home birth [after it didn’t go to plan with Paul].
“Rosie’s [birth] was lovely. I think I’m quite a calm person in labour. [The only time I snapped was when] Paul breathed in my ear! He kept saying, ‘Breathe with me, breathe with me’. And I was like, ‘Are you for real?! You don’t know what’s going on!’”
The reality star continued: “I had a lovely home birth, water birth… Rosie came, and I was upstairs half an hour later in bed with Rosie, watching X Factor. It was so surreal!”
She added: “Paul [Jr] was there with Rosie… He wasn’t there when I pushed her out… but as soon as she was in my arms, he saw her.
"I do want them around, but when it comes to the push… I don’t want them to see the trauma! I would feel more comfortable with them coming in as soon as baby’s here.”
Sam shared her baby news on Instagram as she posted a sweet black and white photo showing her two kids kissing her bump.
She wrote: “Soon to be a family of 5. We have a spring baby on the way. We’re so happy and feeling blessed."

She added that she won't be finding out the gender of the new baby, writing: "Ps keeping this little one a surprise."
Sam was swarmed with well-wishes from her friends and followers.
Amber Davis wrote: "Oh Sam I had a feeling!!! I am so happy for you," alongside three red heart emojis.
Olivia Attwood added: "Congratulations darling," while Georgia Kousoulou added: "Awww congratulations."
