Scarlett Moffatt says she wants to cry and spend the week in bed after spending Christmas with boyfriend

Scarlett Moffatt has opened up about feeling low over the Christmas break after spending time with her boyfriend over Christmas.

The former Gogglebox star, 31, shared her feelings on her Instagram Stories on Monday 27 December, but didn't explain why she was feeling low.

Dressed in her Fairy Godmother outfit and about to go on stage, she posted a selfie and wrote: "One of them days when you just want to cry and stay in bed for a week."

In another post, the former Queen of the Jungle added: "However I will not let people down as I know some people are coming to panto to see me so I shall be there giving off my fairy godmother cheeriness."

Her social media posts came after her boyfriend, Scott Dobinson, visited her in London for Christmas this year.

Scarlett, who recently shared her plans to start a family with Scott, is currently performing in a pantomime production of Cinderella in Crawley over the festive season.

On Boxing Day she gushed about her beau Scott by writing on Instagram: "Thanks to my bestie and soulmate for coming down so we could celebrate in London together.

"I wasn’t feeling 100% as I got the Xmas cold but the day couldn’t have been more perfect #christmas #love".

Earlier this year,Scarlett and Scott announced they’d splitjust weeks after buying their dream home.

"Unfortunately me and Scott are no longer together. Nothing major has happened, it's just one of those sad things," she wrote at the time.

"I'm going to stay positive for the future and if this lockdown has taught me anything it's to grab life by the horns as life's far too short."

However, the post was quickly deleted andthe pair were back together the next day.

Scarlettlater blamed the brief, 24 hour split on their ‘stressful’ house move, and hassince hinted at marriage hopesafter referring to Scott as her "hubby".

Their move came not long afternews outlets reported that Scarlett’s mother, Betty, had stolen £50,000 from her daughter’s bank account in Januaryto fuel her online gambling addiction.

It is thought Betty, 50, had become addicted to online casinos during lockdown and had plunged herself into debt.

However, it doesn’t seem to have damaged the pair’s relationship, with Scarlett treating her mum to a luxurious spa break for her birthday in August.

"We braved the outside, even though the weather wasn't on our side because, well, we're northern after all!" Scarlett told her Instagram and TikTok followers, commenting they’d had a "beautiful day" together.
