Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash love story in full as they announce baby news

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have today announced they are to welcome their first child together.

Loose Women host Stacey was so overwhelmed with emotion as she broke the news to fans she could only share a picture of her baby scan.

"Every time I go to write anything I sob so…. what he said," she wrote on Instagram .

Luckily, Joe had plenty to say about Stacey ‘growing a baby’ as he gushed about their exciting news.

"I can’t begin to describe how happy we are to be able to share this wonderful news," he said in a statement.

Over the years the fun-loving couple have become beloved by fans for their honest approach to dating and their ‘blended’ family life.

Stacey and Joe were first brought together on the set of I’m A Celebrity Ger Me Out… of Here! back in 2010.

Former X Factor contestant Stacey had just been crowned queen of the jungle – stealing Joe’s crown from the year before – minutes before they were introduced on the spin-off show Joe presented.

Host Joe admitted he fancied the pants off the I’m A Celeb champ from the moment he saw her – but sadly the timing was all wrong as Stace was coupled up with someone else and the pair drifted apart.

It wasn’t until six years later that fate brought Stacey and Joe back together in 2016.

Six months splitting from US prankster Steve-O, Stacey was seen enjoying a romantic spa getaway with Joe as part of his 34th birthday celebrations.

Outing them as a couple, Stacey shared a snap of herself in a bathrobe alongside the caption: "Such a lucky girl."

The pair were said to have enjoyed a full body and scalp massage. Sensual.

Stacey then confirmed the news to the Mirror saying, "It’s going really well. We’re having fun, spending time together and getting to know each other."

They made their first red carpet appearance at a Game of Thrones screening three months later with proud Joe telling reporters he was a ‘very lucky man’ to be dating Stacey.

"I have done well. I am really happy. She is a lovely person. She is great and it’s all good," he gushed.

Once the cat was out the bag, Stacey grew more than comfortable in dishing the dirt on their blossoming romance, delighting Loose Women viewers with her hilarious tales.

From details about their sex life to how Joe refused to visit her on her period, Stacey had fans in hysterics with her honest take about their love life.

After dating for a year the loved-up pair became swamped with engagement rumours – in part down to Stacey making no secret of the fact she was urging her Essex beau to pop the question.

But the The Loose Women panelist dropped her biggest signal ever when she filmed herself trying on wedding gowns in 2017.

While being fitted for gowns for a showbiz event, Stacey asked to slip into bridal white and shared the footage to her Instagram.

But despite her obvious glee, Stacey denied she and Joe were heading up the aisle any time soon: "I AM NOT GETTING MARRIED, I haven’t been proposed to, we aren’t even thinking about it."

Teasing fans, she then added: "Well maybe I am a little bit, or a lot, or all day every day."

As well as a possible engagement, the TV stars have also been constantly quizzed about baby rumours.

Stacey has two sons; Zachary, with her former childhood sweetheart Dean Cox, and Leighton with ex-fiancé Aaron Barnha.

While Joe has son Harry with his former girlfriend Emma Sophocleous.

An emotional Stacey revealed on Loose Women that she would love a baby for Joe but felt she would be judged for having three children by three different men.

She said: "Selfishly, I want more children but society, again, makes me feel as though [I can’t].’

In October 2018 Stacey revealed they’d taken a huge step by moving in together – just in time to celebrate her 29th birthday.

A delighted Stacey said waking up with Joe and her two sons in their own was the ‘best birthday present’ ever.

Writing in her column for Fabulous, she added: "So after three years Joe and I are taking the plunge and blending our lives in our very own together home. Wahoo!

"We have been working really hard to ensure that all of our children feel happy, comfortable and settled and we are finally in a place where we’re ready to merge.”

Four months later Stacey and Joe made another very happy announcement – they are expecting their first child together.

Joe, 37, announced the happy news, sharing pictures of his girlfriend, 29, sleeping at home surrounded by their pets.

He captioned the intimate pictures: "Have been driving myself mad thinking that she’s bored senseless of me and can’t stand to be awake for longer than 10 minutes of my company… So you can imagine my delight to find out that she still loves me and my company very much she’s just been growing a baby.

"I can’t begin to describe how happy we are to be able to share this wonderful news. We’ve been so blessed with 3 incredible children that we’ve had the privilege of raising and we are forever grateful to have the chance to become parents to another wonderful child. It’s all very overwhelming and emotional and we couldn’t be happier right now."
