Steph McGovern took to social media today to thank her boss for leaving her an unlikely present in her dressing room. According to her post, the Packed Lunch star was gifted a vibrator.
The item was in fact a prop from yesterday’s show.
The mum-of-one thanked her producer for the gift and dubbed him a “cheeky so and so” in her Instagram update.
She shared the details, including a photo, with her 22,800 followers.
“Thanks to producer Matt for leaving me one of the props from yesterday’s show…” she wrote online.
The accompanying picture showed a note taped to the sex toy.
“Steph, choose happiness,” the message read alongside an arrow pointing to the gadget.
“Love Matt xx,” he signed off.
“@matt22scott is a cheeky little so and so,” Steph added, tagging her co-worker into the post.
On yesterday’s show, Steph hosted the first ever Senior Sex Clinic.
For the segment, the 38-year-old presenter was joined by sexual health consultant physician Dr Naomi Sutton.
The expert spoke about sexual health in later life and suggested the use of sex toys.
“As we get older we need more stimulation, so you probably need a more powerful one then you did in your 20s for example,” the doctor said as she held up a vibrator.

Ahead of the feature, Steph warned those with children in the room that the topic would not be suitable for younger viewers.
The idea around the segment was to break down taboos and to get over 65s to be more intimate.
It also encouraged them to talk about it more.
The host was also joined by a woman who claims to have slept with over 1,000 men after a 40-year abstinence.
This follows an episode last month where Steph underwent a smear test on live television, in order to break down the stigma surrounding the intimate procedure.
She was praised by viewers for bravely enduring the internal examination and encouraging others to get tested.
It has been reported that the uptake of smear testing is at an all-time low following the coronavirus pandemic.
Women have also been putting them off as they find them embarrassing and uncomfortable.
