Pasha Kovalev has exclusively opened up on his wife Rachel Riley's pregnancy, as she carries their second child.
The 41 year old is already dad to daughter Maven, one, but announced earlier this year that Rachel, 35, is once again expecting.
Speaking exclusively to OK! online, the former Strictly Come Dancer star has discussed how he is helping his Countdown host wife deal with trolling during her pregnancy, and his happiness for his ex-dance partner Kimberley Walsh, who is expecting her third son.
Ahead of his new stage show Here Come The Boys, alongside pal Aljaž Škorjanec, Pasha said he is "very, very excited" to have another baby on the way.
He explained: "Rachel and I, once we had the first baby, we said we definitely needed another one, and we didn't want there to be too much of a break or time between them so they could grow up together as close as possible.
"That was the plan and so far everything has gone great with the plan."
Discussing how Rachel's second pregnancy differs from her first, he continued: "Every pregnancy is different but she is doing very well.
"She's in good health and good spirits so everything is fine. Nothing's too different from the first pregnancy actually.
"The wellbeing of my family is the most important thing so trolling affects my wife a lot.
"I'm very distant from this kind of thing, I never look at comments online and Rachel is trying to get a point across about racial abuse or domestic violence and she gets back very, I would say, ridiculous messages.
"People completely miss the point and speak about something totally irrelevant.
"I am trying to protect her as much as I can by providing a safe environment at home, that's all I can do and try to direct her attention to the good things.
"In her position, you cannot totally avoid all the negative messages or comments but I am insisting on cutting interaction online to the bare minimum, it definitely effects her health and, because she's carrying a baby, it will affect them too.
"I'm trying to support her to do less of it whilst she's pregnant," the Russian dancer continued.
Pasha also opened up on his relationship with former Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh, who he reached the Strictly final with in 2012.

Earlier this year, 39 year old Kimberley exclusively revealed in a stunning shoot with OK! that she and husband Justin Scott were expecting their third son.
Pasha says: "I've kept in touch with Kimberley, we're good friends. We're not talking as much lately as we did before, but we always go back and forth and check in on each other.
"I'm very happy for her. I didn't know what it would be like before I had my first child, I know everyone who talks about it says it's an amazing, magical thing and, to be honest, I agree with that but you can't understand it properly unless you're a parent and have experienced it yourself.
"So I'm very happy for her that she gets to experience that kind of relationship and love in her life."
Pasha is starring in Here Come The Boys, which premieres at the London Palladium on 25 May before touring the country next year. For information and tickets, visit herecometheboysshow.com.
