T.I. arrested for alleged public drunkenness

T.I. was arrested early Wednesday morning for alleged disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.

The rapper, born Clifford Harris Jr., was cuffed by Henry County police around 4 a.m., WSB-TV Atlanta reported.

Police told the outlet that he was arrested at the gated community where he lives after an altercation with a security guard.

T.I., 37, allegedly didn’t have his key and the guard would not let him in.

“Don’t you know who I am?” he asked the guard, according to police.

WSB-TV also reported that at some point T.I. called an unnamed friend to for help, but his friend was also apprehended when the cops arrived, as he had an outstanding warrant for his own arrest.

T.I. has since bonded out.

A message for the deputy chief at the Henry County police department wasn’t immediately returned.

T.I.’s rep didn’t immediately get back to us.
