The 90s slip dress is back – how to channel the trend

For those of you that weren’t around waaay back then, the satin slip dress was a ’90s favourite worn by the likes of Kate Moss, Gwyneth Paltrow, Courtney Love and Winona Ryder.

Kate famously wore a see through version to the Elite Look of the Year party back in 1993, alongside her fellow super model Naomi Campbell.

Another memorable slip moment was back in 1996, when Gwyneth Paltrow was dating Brad Pitt in 1996. The actress hit the Oscars red carpet wearing a pale pink Calvin Klein number, with Brad on her arm. Those were the days.

Back in the ’90s everyone was obsessed with label Ghost, whose bias cut slip dresses flattered and fitted like a dream.

Fast forward to today and Rita Ora, Abbey Clancy, Sami Gayle, Zoe Kravitz and Karen Elson are just a few of the celebs adopting the trend again.
